Notify, Accountant, Bank, Gas, Electricity, Phone, Internet Services, Insurance companies for home contents insurance and postal re-direction.
Notify School of impending removal & Enroll kids at new school, if applicable.
As soon as removal date is known, Book Offners Removals
Organize unwanted goods for disposal/Garage sale.
TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO MOVE
Confirm definate removal dates with Offners Removals
If you need to purchase packing boxes please advise Offners. Label each ctn with Content & Room.
Confirm Payment details with Offners Removals.
Arrange Pet Transport
Organize connection of services to new home.
ONE WEEK PRIOR TO MOVE
Dispose of Flammables & old medicines
Pack Removal Cartons
Arrange babysitter for removal days if applicable.
Collect any necessary documents from Doctor & Dentist, if moving to another town.
Drain Fuel & Gas from containers
PRE-MOVE DAY
Empty , Defrost & Wipe out Fridge
Finish last minute packing
Ensure you have all valuables & Documents with you (We are not responsible for, cheque books, Hand Bags , Medications , Car & House Keys & Jewellery.
Removal any excess water from Garden Hoses
Remove rubbish from Bins & Compost bins that are to be removed.
MOVING DAY
Set aside any car keys, house keys & handbags
Be present to instruct Offners Removals if possible, is not essential.
Make sure you have collected any Car & House Keys required.
Walk through house ( Inside & Outside ) to ensure all is packed & removed.
Turn off lights, Close windows & Lock house.
Confirm delivery details & contact numbers with Offners, before leaving for New home.
STORAGE
No Food Packets into storage
No Pot Plants into Storage.
DELIVERY DAY
Be present when unloading and placement of Furniture in new home.
Check Electricity, Gas & Phone have been connected.
Check Hot Water service is going.
